Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (Evening)

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College was conceived on the idea to provide higher education to candidates who are already employed. It was established in 1973 Under Delhi University with this thought. Varied courses are offered to the students who apply for undergraduate qualification.

Admission Procedure

The forms are to be collected from the center and deposited at the college office. Preadmission forms are available from the center after the announcement of the admission. Incomplete and incorrect forms are often rejected by the college office. So candidates should fill up the form on their own handwriting and provide the required documents as asked in the prospectus. Usually age certificate, mark sheet and migration certificate are needed at the time of admission. Names of the selected candidates are announced on the college notice board. Selection is done on merit alone.

The following percentage was the minimum aggregate that is asked for like:

B.Com.(Hons.) - 84.5%-89.5%

B.Com. - 76%-81%

B.A.(Hons.)Geo. - 63%

B.A.(Hons.)Pol Sc - 60%

B.A.Program - 58%

Note: 5% relaxation for girl candidates.

Age relaxation and reservation of seats are as according to University norms.
