Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI)

The Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI) is affiliated to the University of Delhi. Mostly postgraduate degrees on medical sciences are taught here. The institute uniquely devotes its energy to studies in different diseases related to chest. Also it is maintained by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Courses offered:

* M.D or Doctor of Medicine

* D.T.C.D. or Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases

Admission procedure:

While DTCD is a two year post graduate diploma, MD is a three year post graduate degree course in the college. Admission procedure is same as any medical institute under University of Delhi. Selections of candidates are based on merit. Pupils are required to carry their age certificate and mark sheet details at the time of admission.

Eligibility

Candidates have to hold a MBBS degree to apply for the seats here. Both DTDC and MD require the candidates to have a MBBS degree.
