Maulana Azad Medical College
Established in the year 1959 in Delhi Maulana Azad Medical College have
three associated hospitals, Lok Nayak hospital, Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital,
and Guru Nanak Eye Centre. It is a premier medical institute under Delhi
University and widely acclaimed for its education and background.

Admission Procedure:
For admission into any medical college under Delhi University the candidates
have to appear in the pre medical exam and also acquire about 50% marks in 10+2
exam.
The post graduate level Medical test on the other hand is conducted to
select candidates for MD and MS.
Separate dental examination of Delhi University is conducted for B.D.S.
To complete the courses they have to give a 5 and half years duration to
M.B.B.S. Course and 5 years duration to B.D.S. Course followed by 6 months and
1 year internship respectively.
Eligibility
Since Maulana Azad Medical College has 180 seats for the MBBS course and 20
seats for the BDS course the selection is based on merits.
For MD and MS Courses there are 62 seats for and 25 seats respectively. It
also offers 26 seats for the postgraduate diploma courses.
