Institute of Home Economics

Institute of Home Economics was established in 1961. It is one of the premier institutes under Delhi University. Both undergraduate and post graduate courses are taught here.

Admission Procedure

Candidates are required to apply in a prescribed format to the office of the college. Office is open till 1p.m. on working days. Application form of the candidates should have attested copies of the mark sheets and all required certificates and proofs of his/her age and caste (optional).

Reservation

Reservation of SC, ST, OBCs and other quotas are strictly followed in accordance with the University rule.

Eligibility

Eligibility of age is 17 years for under graduate courses and cut off marks is determined each year separately for each courses.

The minimum percentage is given in the prospectus and in the information notice board.

Selection of candidates is on merit and acquiring the minimum percentage is not always enough.
