Deshbandhu College

Deshbandhu College now stands as the largest co-educational institute under Delhi University. Founded in 1952 under Ministry of Rehabilitation it now support different students under different undergraduate and post graduate courses.

Eligibility

Admittance to the college is solely on merit. You have to be above 17 years for admission to undergraduate Level. For B.A. programme it is required that you acquire at least above 40% to 45% marks. For science on the hand about above 45% to 55% marks is required with 50% in English.

Admission Procedure

Candidates only have to fill up the Preliminary Admission Form available with the prospectus. Separate forms are required for separate courses. Admission is solely on the results and merits. During admission the following documents are necessary:

Provisional Certificate and Mark sheet from the school/college last attended.

Class X certificate (DOB)

Character certificate

Passport size photographs (3)

Migration Certificate.

Caste/tribe Certificate.

Reservation

Reservation is same as university rules with 5 % for each of foreign students, close relatives of armed forces and Sports quota. 3 % is kept for physically challenged and as per Indian University rule 15% for SC 7.5% for ST and close to 36 % for OBCs.
